Get Coordinates From Geocoordinate String Activity

Description

Converts an array of well-known strings into xy-coordinates based on the conversion type and spatial reference supplied by the user.

Usage

You may need to convert a geocoordinate string into coordinates. You could get a geocoordinate string from user input using a Display Form activity and the Text Box form element then convert the string into coordinates using the Get Coordinates From Geocoordinate String activity.

The URL of the ArcGIS geometry service.

For example, https://utility.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Geometry/GeometryServer.

Strings

Required

Type: String[]

An array of formatted strings as specified by Conversion Type.

For example: ["01N AA 66021 00000" , "11S NT 00000 62155" , "31U BT 94071 65288"].

Spatial Reference

Optional

Type: String | Number | esri.SpatialReference (3.x, 4.x)*

The spatial reference to convert the input string coordinates to.

Conversion Type

Optional

Type: "mgrs" | "usng" | "utm" | "geo-ref" | "gars" | "dms" | "ddm" | "dd" | String

The conversion type of the input strings.

The default value is mgrs.

Possible values: mgrs | usng | utm | geo-ref | gars | dms | ddm | dd.
