Calculate Area Activity
Description
Calculates the area of the input geometry.
Usage
You may need to calculate the area of a geometry. You could perform a query using the Query Layer activity then calculate the area of one of the resulting features

Required Type: esri.Polygon (3.x, 4.x)* The polygon whose area is being calculated. |

Geodesic |
|
Optional Type: Boolean Determines whether the area to be calculated is geodesic. If not, the planar area is returned. Defaults to false. Geodesic areas only work with WGS84 (WKID: 4326) and Web Mercator spatial references. |

Unit |
|
Optional The measurement unit of the return value. Defaults to the units of the input geometry. Known values: acres | ares | hectares | square-feet | square-meters | square-yards | square-kilometers | square-miles. |
