You can set and edit specific settings for each Portal for ArcGIS whether it is a hub or agent portal. You can also add, edit and remove a remote Portal for ArcGIS.
You can enable or disable a Portal for ArcGIS by clicking the Enabled icon:
When a Portal for ArcGIS is disabled, Analytics stops collecting information about it.
To remove a remote Portal for ArcGIS, click the Remove icon and when the warning appears, click Remove.
ArcGIS Portals can be added to Analytics at any point and it will be detected and added to the sidebar automatically.
Agent Server: If the ArcGIS Portal is on an agent server, once it is added to Analytics, you need to edit the portal settings in Configuration to add any credentials you need to access the portal. You can also edit some of the settings but not all of them.
Remote Server: You can add, edit or remove a Portal for ArcGIS that is not in the Analytics cluster in order to collect information about it.
To set up a remote Portal for ArcGIS:
Open Analytics, and then click Configuration.
At the bottom of the sidebar, click Add and select ArcGIS Portal.
On the Setup tab, enter the following information:
Name: Enter the Portal name that will appear in reports and alarms.
Organization URL: Type in the URL to the remote server, for example, for example, https://YourHostName/arcgis
Authentication Type: Select the type of authentication you want to use from the following:
Token: Select if the remote Portal uses Token Authentication.
Username: Type in the name of a user with full access to the Portal.
Password: Type in the password that matches the Username.
OAuth2:
App ID: Paste in the App ID of the app in Portal.
App Secret: Paste in the App Secret of the app in Portal.
Windows Authentication: Select if you use Windows Authentication to secure the Portal.
Username: Type in the name of a user with full access to the Portal.
Password: Type in the password that matches the user.
Domain: Type in the domain that the user is on.
WinAuth + Token: Select if the Portal uses two layers of security made up of Windows Authentication and Token security. You then need to enter the credentials for both a Windows authenticated user and a token secured user. The fields are the same as for Windows Authentication and Token security above.
Win Auth + OAuth2: Select if the Portal uses two layers of security made up of Windows Authentication and OAuth2. You then need to enter the credentials for both a Windows Authenticated user and the App ID and App Secret of the App that you created for Analytics.
Click Save.
A message indicates that the portal is being added. When the process is complete, the name of the portal appears in the resource list under Portals.
You can set up specific alarms that apply to a single Portal for ArcGIS instance on the Alarms tab of that instance. Click on any alarm card to edit the settings of an alarm. For more information, see Available User Accounts Alarm , Remaining Credits Alarm, ArcGIS Services Alarms. You can also configure the Request Failure Alarm, Response Time Alarm, Maximum CPU Usage Alarm, and Maximum Memory Usage Alarm, for each individual Portal for ArcGIS.
