Configure Portal for ArcGIS

You can set and edit specific settings for each Portal for ArcGIS whether it is a hub or agent portal. You can also add, edit and remove a remote Portal for ArcGIS.

Enable, Disable or Remove a Portal for ArcGIS

You can enable or disable a Portal for ArcGIS by clicking the Enabled icon:

When a Portal for ArcGIS is disabled, Analytics stops collecting information about it.

To remove a remote Portal for ArcGIS, click the Remove icon and when the warning appears, click Remove.

Specific Portal for ArcGIS Settings

ArcGIS Portals can be added to Analytics at any point and it will be detected and added to the sidebar automatically.

Set up a Remote Portal for ArcGIS

To set up a remote Portal for ArcGIS:

  1. Open Analytics, and then click Configuration.

  2. At the bottom of the sidebar, click Add and select ArcGIS Portal.

  3. On the Setup tab, enter the following information:

    A message indicates that the portal is being added. When the process is complete, the name of the portal appears in the resource list under Portals.

Set Specific Portal for ArcGIS Alarms

You can set up specific alarms that apply to a single Portal for ArcGIS instance on the Alarms tab of that instance. Click on any alarm card to edit the settings of an alarm. For more information, see Available User Accounts Alarm , Remaining Credits Alarm, ArcGIS Services Alarms. You can also configure the Request Failure Alarm, Response Time Alarm, Maximum CPU Usage Alarm, and Maximum Memory Usage Alarm, for each individual Portal for ArcGIS.
