Geocortex Application Configuration

Most of the information gathered about Geocortex Applications is collected automatically from a variety of sources. For this reason, you cannot add an application and the settings you can configure are limited to establishing if the application is running. You can set the collection interval between probes as well as set alarms to trigger if the response is not received or is too slow. You can set the collection interval of applications and alarms to affect all applications globally or a specific application.

Global Application Settings

On the Collection Interval tab, you can select a Collection Interval to affect all Geocortex Applications.

On the Alarms tab, you can override the default alarm settings and that apply to all application that fail to respond or are slow to respond.

Specific Application Settings

When a workflow runs on startup, that occurrence is not included in Analytics Reports under Geocortex Applications | Viewer Name | Trends tab | Tool Usage panel. If a workflow is run manually, it is included in the panel.

Set the Collection Interval for Applications

On the Setup tab, you can set the collection interval to probe this particular application.

Set Alarms for an Application

On the Alarms tab of a Geocortex Application, you can set alarms to trigger if this particular application fails or takes too long to respond. For more information, see Request Failure Alarm, and Response Time Alarm.
